A “relief” printmaker, Sharron specializes in nature printing: using the actual, natural specimen (fish, fern, octopus….) to make the image. Permanent inks and paints are used to create the nature print on paper or fabric. She also works with encaustic (painting with melted wax) to create unique collages incorporating her nature prints.
